Porsche Programme 2024

ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE

Huge thanks once again to not only our key delivery partners but also all of the professional racing drivers at the Porsche Experience Centre together with the army of incredible hotel staff at Whittlebury Hall who look after our beneficiaries, their families and our charity’s army of volunteers, this immersive two-day programme promises the experience of a lifetime but also delivers real change and impact, underpinned by a very real sense of personal achievement.

CHANGE COMES IN MANY FORMS

Whilst we recognise that progress is individual, we have witnessed over many years real change and improved social connection as a direct result of our work. True change comes in many forms. In addition to physical challenges, conditions such as muscular dystrophy (MD) can and do have a profound psychosocial impact on the lives of affected families.

This flagship programme not only brings moments of real joy to each young person, but also it directly supports mental and emotional wellness, as well as psychosocial needs. We deliver our work in a safe and supportive way to vulnerable young people. We work hard to build trust with families and caregivers.

INSPIRING CONFIDENCE, BOOSTING SELF-ESTEEM

We encourage all programme beneficiaries to reflect and learn from their experiences with the aim of inspiring confidence, building self-esteem and resilience to support mental and emotional wellbeing into the future. Inclusion in this programme and by default in our charity’s Muscle Warrior tribe fosters a sense of belonging for members of our community and makes an important contribution to improving the quality of their lives.

Exacerbated by the pandemic, the psychosocial impact of MD has left many of our community isolated and often struggling with feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. Through this bespoke programme, we aim to ensure that the Muscle Warrior spirit is felt and that beneficiaries feel enabled and empowered.

DONATE TO SUPPORT THIS YEAR’S 2024 PROGRAMME

Plans are well underway for this year’s 2024 programme. That said, the charity needs support. Tailored programmes like this have costs. If you or your business would like to help cover the cost of one or more places or perhaps you wish to simply make a donation, knowing that your support will ensure that this years programme recipients have the most unforgettable weekend of their lives, then click HERE to donate or HERE to get in touch to discuss how you might like to help – thank you!

ELEVEN YEARS AGO — the charity received the feedback below from a dad whose son ALEX (now an Ambassador for the charity) had just experienced our 2013 Porsche Muscle Dream programme:

⇒ Darrell said: “In June 2013, our beloved son Alex was so lucky to be chosen as part of the Muscle Help Foundation (MHF) charity’s ‘Class of 2013’ Porsche Muscle Dream Programme. This event ignited his confidence, self-belief and his can-do attitude to pursue a career in motor sport, his dream! Some ten years on, Alex is now a 24-year-old professional racing driver, instructor and coach. This has all come about thanks to your MHF charity and the incredible #LightItUp3 opportunity that Alex, a fully-fledged Muscle Warrior, was given all those years ago. Thank you hardly cuts it!” – read all about Alex’s story HERE

EIGHT YEARS AGO — we received the feedback below from a dad whose son IZZY had just experienced our 2016 Porsche Muscle Dream programme … reflecting on the experience:
