2024/25 is a key milestone as the charity celebrates 21 years of operation, 21 years of giving hope and 21 years of changing lives. As we say, that’s the #PowerOf657

With just one full-time head, we are a small family-centred charity, with a proven, demonstrable and transparent focus on impact. The Muscle Help Foundation (MHF) charity works tirelessly to help fulfil the cherished dreams and aspirations of children and young people (8-28yrs) with the muscle wasting disease, Muscular Dystrophy (MD).

Testimonials from our beneficiaries and their families, in addition to MHF’s amazing volunteers (the life-blood of the charity) and others are testament to the impact and difference, with your support, we make.

By the end of Feb 2025, MHF will we hope be pushing past 600 Muscle Dream experiences, made up of virtual interventions, unique (singular) Muscle Dreams and programme based initiatives where several beneficiaries & their families come together. We focus our efforts on children, young people and young adults with Muscular Dystrophy (MD). The MHF charity has touched the lives of 1000’s of people across the UK, from families & local communities to schools, clubs, churches & businesses – our impact and reach continues to grow.

All Muscle Dream interventions are evaluated (both quantitatively & qualitatively). Our impact can be seen in several ways – from improved confidence, greater self-esteem, and an increased sense of hopefulness to a powerful collective identity that connects families together giving them an essential platform to share knowledge. Additionally, unforgettable memories and lasting friendships are established.
