Home » Muscle Dreams » Nominate for Virtual Muscle Dream Music Programme – Applications Open Now!
Applications are now open for our Virtual Muscle Dream Music Programme; an innovative, fun and hopefully noisy, beatboxing and singing session like no other. Warm up your vocal cords and help compose the 657 Anthem! If you know the next Ed Sheeran, nominate them today!
Supported by our fantastic partners at The Rhythm Studio (Reg Charity N0. 1145472), a music academy in West London, prepare to be inspired, to discover your inner musical talents and to do something that's different and seriously cool.
“The Rhythm Studio is an amazing place where children fall in love with learning music. The teachers make it fun and inspiring, and very cool” (Gwyneth Paltrow, Patron)
“The work that The Rhythm Studio Foundation does helping young musicians is fantastic and inspiring, and I’m proud to be associated with it” (Chris Martin, Patron)
We will be running two groups, one for our younger Muscle Warrior hopefuls (8-12yrs) focusing on the elements of singing; and for our older Muscle Warriors (13-18yrs) we will be beatboxing and creating the '657 Anthem'. Both groups will learn about music composition and how music can bring much needed joy and happiness into their lives.
Know someone with muscular dystrophy (MD) aged between 8 & 18yrs old? Please share this so that as many children and young people with MD across the UK hear about this opportunity and can be nominated to participate in our inaugural Virtual Muscle Music Dream programme .
To participate in ‘Grooving with Gratitude - Music 1.0’, bringing the noise into your home virtually, check out what you'll need to do in order to participate and then complete the application below.
All participating families will receive:
♦ Minimum age = 8yrs, maximum age = 18yrs
♦ We will inform successful nominees by email within 2 days of the applications deadline date
♦ The charity's decision is final
As with all Muscle Dreams, our beneficiaries are defined as children & young people in the UK with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) & allied neuromuscular conditions
