Modina Muscle Warriors smash Tough Mudder Challenge raising a magnificent £1,806.96 for Muscle Dreams … that’s the #powerof657!

On Saturday 21st May, a team from Hertfordshire-based bookkeeping and payroll specialist, Modina (aka Modina Muscle Warriors), based in Hitchin (Hertfordshire) participated in a Tough Mudder Challenge in aid of the Muscle Help Foundation and in the process raised a magnificent £1,806.96 for the charity’s Muscle Dream activities.
The MD of Modina, Sharon Mordecai, selected the charity after receiving a phone call from one of its Muscle Dream beneficiaries and now the charity’s Volunteer Project #657Herts Coordinator, Gianluca Luisi – this call sparked her interest to find out more about MHF’s work and impact and the rest as they say is history.

The Modina ‘Muscle Warriors’ team spent the last 6 months toning up their muscles and overall fitness in preparation for their Tough Mudder Challenge that involved running 13 miles through mud and tackling obstacles that designed by Marines.
MHF’s CEO and inspirational speaker Michael McGrath, himself diagnosed with MD at the age of 18yrs and now a permanent powerchair user, gave the Modina Muscle Warriors team, a pre-event Tough Mudder motivational talk reminding them of the link between muscles, movement and the #powerof657.

The funds raised will I know help the charity’s mission to deliver 657 Muscle Dreams, that’s one for every muscle in the human body!” |
