Posted on July 21st, 2015

A 30-strong team of staff and management from JSA, the leading provider of specialist accountancy, payroll and employment services to contractors and freelancers, completed a 10K walk to raise funds in support of the Muscle Help Foundation (MHF).

Ben Dunn, Managing Director of JSA, was on hand to present a cheque on behalf of the company for over £4000 raised to MHF’s CEO, Michael McGrath, himself diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 18yrs and now a permanent electric wheelchair user.

MHF provides transformational, highly personalised experiences known as ‘Muscle Dreams’ to children and young people across the UK who suffer with the muscle-wasting disease, MD and allied neuromuscular conditions.

Ben said: “We are delighted to be supporting the valuable work carried out by the Muscle Help Foundation. This is the first of many ways in which we will be working with the charity going forward, to help them raise funds for many future ‘Muscle Dreams.”

Following the presentation, Ben and the staff joined Michael in delivering the charity’s distinctive ‘Muscle Warrior salute’, a visible symbol of hope, courage, strength and unity for all those with muscular dystrophy.
