Explore how we each choose to focus on different things. Improve your sense of wellbeing. We all decide what to focus on and what to blur out, right? Share a photo you think is amazing and then find out if others agree! What do you filter out? Could a new life lens help you see things differently? And what would life look like then?
KNOW SOMEONE WITH MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY?

MAKING YOU FEEL HAPPIER
“Taking pictures is savouring life intensely, every hundredth of a second” – according to French photographer Marc Riboud, taking photos (as we all do every day of our lives on our smartphones) can make you feel happier!
FOCUS ON WHAT’S AROUND YOU
Whether you have a mobile phone or an expensive camera, it doesn’t matter. When you snap a photo, you decide to focus on what’s around you – what’s unique, breath-taking, funny or just plain quirky! You decide what to leave out or what to blur into the background. Today’s digital editing tools can help you create amazing images.
IMPROVE YOUR SENSE OF WELLBEING BY SNAPPING MINDFULLY
Learn how to take your photos mindfully to improve your sense of wellbeing. You’ll have a chance to share your favourite photos, taken by you or others.
HOW DO YOU SEE YOURSELF
Explore how you see yourself in today’s world, how you see your life and the people around you. What do you focus on? What do you filter out? Perhaps a new life lens might help you see things differently? And what would life look like then for you?
HELPING FAMILIES WITH TODAY’S COST OF LIVING CRISIS
As part of this programme, the charity is once again offering each beneficiary a treat of one £20.00 Just Eat or Deliveroo Gift Card. This will be arranged via email with each nominee after the programme has finished. Bon appétit!
FOCUS ON THINGS / PEOPLE THAT MAKE YOU REALLY HAPPY
Take one photo every day for a week. We’d like you to focus on things or people that make you really happy. Make the pictures you snap beautiful, creative, and meaningful to you. Don’t rush it! Take everything in. Snap the best pic you can. Choose your 3 fav photos to share digitally during this programme.
