Why should your business work with a charity like us?

Posted on November 28th, 2024

At The Muscle Help Foundation, our mission is to deliver 657 transformational Muscle Dream interventions, experiences or moments-in-time across the UK for children and young people living with Muscular Dystrophy. That’s one life-changing, cherished moment-in-time for every muscle in the human body and we would love for your help to achieve this goal and make a huge impact!

There are a variety of reasons that businesses choose to work with a charity; to spread awareness of a cause that is close to their hearts, to support their community, to expand their networks or to boost employee morale.

Martin Barrett, MD of Herts DCS has been working with The Muscle Help foundation for eight years, “Since meeting the inspirational Michael McGrath MBE, and telling our story of losing a member of our family to a form of muscular dystrophy, Herts DCS are pleased to have volunteered our support for The Muscle Help Foundation. From supporting beneficiaries and their families on Muscle Dreams days to graphics support for MHF charity reports. The charity is close to our hearts and seeing the children and young adults’ faces of joy when they’ve had their Muscle Dream realised, is priceless. We look forward to many more years of supporting this amazing charity.”

Here are a few ways in which you and your company can get involved:

Charity of the Year

By nominating us as your chosen charity of the year you can make a significant impact on the growth of a small charity, with national reach, that is rooted in family values, while also creating excellent team-building and networking opportunities. Why not put forward your employees to become Muscle Warriors, or why not sponsor one of our Muscle Dream programmes?
