HRH Countess Of Wessex Meets McGrath

Julian Gregory, Managing Director of Business Traveller introduced Michael McGrath, disABILITY Champion for Hilton UK & Ireland and also Executive Director and Co-Founder of The Muscular Help Foundation to HRH The Countess of Wessex at the 2004 Business Traveller Awards held at a prestigious lunch at the London Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on September 21st
Presented by HRH the Countess of Wessex in association with the charity Vision 20:20 and sponsored by Travel Management Company TQ3, the awards are voted for by the readers of Business Traveller magazine, and for over 20 years have been the pre-eminent awards in business travel

Hilton emerged victorious at the awards by winning five top accolades, making a total of 17 wins over the past five years. The awards this year included Best Business Hotel in Europe for coincidentally the London Hilton on Park Lane where the awards ceremony was aptly being held. Hilton won in the following categories:

§ Best Business Hotel Chain in Europe
§ Best Business Hotel Chain in North America
§ Best Business Hotel in Western Europe - London Hilton on Park Lane
§ Best Hotel Loyalty Scheme - Hilton HHonors

Traveller of the year award was given to Chris Friend, a blind man who travels frequently around the world on his own representing the charity Sight Savers. The chosen charity for this year's awards was Vision 20/20, of which the Countess of Wessex is patron.
