Logo Guidelines


Using the MHF suite of logos

There are guidelines for the use of our logos which must be consulted prior to any use

Organisations downloading these logos are asked to notify The Muscle Help Foundation (MHF) by e-mail by clicking here

Guidelines for use of the MHF name, logos and/or materials

The MHF logos symbolize the goals, objectives, values, messages, and strategies of the charity

They are used to brand all communications of the charity, provide a visual identity for use by everyone involved in our activities as well as for sponsors and partners to show their support for and involvement in the charity

The charity does not endorse commercial products or services. Thus, the name and logo cannot, without prior written consent, be used in any manner that suggests a direct product and/or services endorsement

The MHF suite of logos were chosen after due consultation with team members and representatives who support the charity

The use of the MHF logos

There will be a number of events and/or campaign's that may include press activity across the UK, Europe and worldwide. It is therefore desirable that the MHF logos be used as widely as possible. Within this context of extensive, open usage of our logos, the following simple rules apply –


1. Because they represents the identity of the charity and/or an event or program, the brand names and logos can only be used as designed and produced and as available from MHF
2. The design of the MHF logos CANNOT be changed or edited in any way
3. MHF may choose to accompany any of its logos by text reinforcing particular messages in line with promotional campaigns in support of projects
4. As long as the activities, products and materials are consistent with the goals, objectives and messages of the charity, the official name [Muscle Help Foundation] and associated logos [Muscle Dreams / Muscle Warrior/s] can be used without permission for the following activities or products:

- Information and promotional campaigns

- Awareness activities

- Newsletters and journal articles

- Websites

- Radio and Television Programmes, or advertisements

- Conferences and seminars

- Promotional items

Use of the MHF name and logos that require permission

The charity does not endorse commercial products or services. Thus, the name/s and logo/s cannot be used in any manner [without prior written consent] that suggests a direct product and services endorsement. In particular, it cannot be used for:

Printing it in conjunction with other organisational or commercial company names [contact MHF for permission]

Using it with other messages not linked to projects such as pole2pole [contact MHF for permission]

Where permission is required to use any of the MHF logo/s at national or international level, email us by clicking here

 

Policy for Duplicating MHF Promotional Materials

Promotional products produced for MHF and/or any of the charity's sub-brands ie. Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s are in the public domain and are not as yet copyrighted.
However, when printing and reproducing any MHF materials / products, organisations must only do this for events and actions consistent with the goals and stated objectives of the charity


Printing and reproduction of MHF and/or associated charity materials that do not require permission

Addition of organisation's name, logo, telephone number, fax number, or web site address to any MHF related product/s

Addition of the following or similar statements to MHF and/or any related product/s:

"XXX supports the aims of MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s"
"Reprinted as an educational service in support of MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s"
"Provided by XXX in support of MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s"

 

Printing and reproduction of materials that require permission

Revising or editing the content of MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s products

To request approval of revised MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s products, please e-mail us by clicking here and provide a description of ~

- the organisation

- what will be changed and why; and,

- how the revised product will be disseminated and used

 

Restrictions for Printing and Reproduction of the MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s materials

Commercial brands or product names or logos CANNOT be added to any MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s products without prior written application and written consent from the charity

MHF and/or Muscle Dreams and/or Muscle Warrior/s products cannot be sold for a profit but can be sold to recover printing and distribution costs

Logo Original Concept Design

The Muscle Help Foundation would like to thank the creator of the original concept of our distinctive pole2pole logo, Jake Hemming. At the time of design, Jake Hemming was a student at Weydon School in Farnham, Surrey, UK
