Trusteeship
Under the Charities Act 1993 [s.97(1)], charity trustees are persons having the general control and management of the administration of a charity. It is often considered an honour to act as a Trustee, an opportunity for some to give something back to the community.

Being a trustee involves a level of professional responsibility and personal commitment.
As of 11th February 2011, The Muscle Help Foundation’s appointed Trustees are:
Mr Miles Peckham (co-founder & Chair of Trustees)
Mr Christopher Kelly
Mr David Legg
Note. Michael McGrath is a co-founder for the charity
TRUSTEES' RESPONSIBILITIES
The trustees have full responsibility for the charity - these responsibilities include:
- A requirement to act prudently at all times in the best interests of the charity and its beneficiaries
- To be personally accountable for the proper management of the charity and its assets

- Managing finance
- Applying income
- Land and buildings
- Investing funds
- Fund raising
- Employing funds
