About Us

About Muscle Help Foundation

We are a small charity working tirelessly to help fulfil the cherished dreams of children and young people with the muscle wasting disease, Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and allied neuromuscular conditions.

As of December 2017, the charity will have delivered 267 Muscle Dream experiences, both unique (singular) and programme based (several beneficiaries and their families), for children and young people with Muscular Dystrophy (MD) and allied neuromuscular conditions. Today, the charity has touched the lives of 1000’s of people across the UK, from families and local communities to schools and businesses – its impact and reach continues to grow.

All Muscle Dreams are evaluated. The charity’s impact can be seen in several ways – from improved confidence, greater self-esteem, and an increased sense of hopefulness to a powerful collective identity that connects families together giving them an essential platform to share knowledge; in addition, unforgettable memories and lasting friendships are established.

Why not join us today as a volunteer or our growing tribe of Muscle Warrior fundraisers, participate in one or more of our upcoming events or get involved in our innovative #powerof657 national campaign that’s sits at the heart of everything we do … designed to drive awareness of our work but also generate vital funds so we can move closer towards our goal of delivering 657 Muscle Dreams, one for every muscle in the human body.

Founded in 2003 by Michael McGrath (CEO) and Miles Peckham, the charities vision has grown from the seed of an idea, to a life changing reality.
